How to cancel sony vegas lifetime license purchase?

Aline-Oliveira wrote on 8/8/2024, 4:41 PM

Dear ones,

A few days ago (August 1st) I purchased a sony vegas lifetime license (without expiry date) and unfortunately it's not working for me. I have looked into my profile and could not find anywhere to cancel my purchase and claim my money back. Meanwhile, i have just emailed them (infoservice@magix.net and shop@magix.net) requiring to cancel my purchase. Would you guys have any tip/hint to provide in order to make it happen asap? I kindly appreciate you time and collaboration. Best regars, Aline

@Aline-Oliveira

Hi Aline. Welcome to the Magix user to user forums which are for all Magix products with the exception of the Vegas product line.

Technically you have posted in the wrong set of forums which should have been at the Vegas creatives forums. It hasn't been a Sony product for a long time and should really be addressed as just Vegas or Vegas Pro.

If you included your purchase details in your emails you have probably done the best thing you could do within the cooling off period. Emails can be up to eight days to get a non automated reply from in my experience although the sales email address can be quicker at replying than infoservice one in my personal experience contrary to the advice given.

The information on canceling can be found on the main website where you made the purchase on the same page.

The chances are this topic will now be locked by the moderators so if you need more advice try looking for the Vegascreatives forums. A link for which can be found at the bottom of this page.

Ray.
