I hope that you mean 4:3.

You don't. Whatever you have at the beginning stays. All that happens is that images and videos that do not have 16:9 will obviously not fill the screen and you will have black bars at the left and right. You can zoom in on the objects and move them to fill the screen (with some loss of resolution) if you want to avoid the black borders.
