How do you divide chapters when you want to

I have PhotoStory on CD & DVD 10 and I was importing a lot of my photos. They were originally from a different computer, so they all were "created" on the same day. Because of this, it will not divide the pictures at all. The folders are all from different years and are different lengths, so I can't just put every 10 photos. Can I make it so that I can choose where the division occurs? Help!

Not sure what you mean by 'divide'

you can just drag the photos in directly from Windows Explorer and put them in any order you like.

Also, if in the  'object' mode (first icon) you can drag the sequence around, just click a photo and hold the button, drag and release.

Date order of the photo is not that important - its only the wizard trying to be clever.

Hi

Assuming the image files are originals or copies of originals:

Using Windows Explorer do as shown in the image (this Windows 7, but Vista and XP should be the same)

Sort by Data taken, you can drag from Windows Explorer to Photostory in groups
