Hi,

Please do not get confused with Music maker, in a Daw software such as Ableton, Cakewalk, Cubase, FL etc  you got various options but if you want to apply that in Music Maker then it is not possible.

If you read Pdf help file of Music Maker you will know that we can apply some effects  using that on object in the track fully or on single object.

What do you mean by special editing? did you try Music editor already if not then please take a look.

Which version of music maker are you using?

Thank you

nihon94

Most other Timeline based programs I have worked with (Sony Vegas, Audacity, Camtasia) allow you to designate a specific piece of the timeline for editing, such as volume changes, fadeins and outs, different mixes. It does not appear as if Music Maker 17 allows for this. The pdf documentation is not helpful for this particular question.

MMM is not "other time-based programs".  It apparently works slightly differently.

As nihon94 already said, MMM-17 is perfectly capable of doing all of the things you are looking to do.  You simply need to learn (and accept) a slightly different method of doing things.

As nihon94 said, you can apply any effects or editing features to any track or individual object.  To create an individual object (the "range" you are looking for) you simply split an object in two places where you want the editing to start and end.  You can use the handles to fine tune the split points.  Then, you can edit to your hearts content.
