How do we play videos edited from Movie Edit ONTO Windos Media or QuickTime?

No media porgram identifies the files of saved movies i edit on my MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 11 and I have some movies I want to show my friends, so I want to play it on Windows Media Player or QuickTime but everytime I try it it says "Error" cannot read this". I tryed adding .mov ect. to the end of it, but it still doesnt seem to work. Any help?

You would have to export the Movie Edit Pro project files in order to play them in media players - click "File" - "Export movie" - "Windows Media Export". (I'd recommend WMV - you can easily upload it to You Tube etc, as well.) At this point, the export dialog will open - you can choose which resolution to use, where to save on your hard drive, etc. Then the file is encoded into a final product that you can play elsewhere.
