That's because, as you stated in your original posting, you have the keyboard set up as a MIDI controller.  In this configuration, you can only use it to play other software (virtual) instruments on the computer.

If you want to record the voices from your Microkorg, you need to connect the AUDIO OUTS on the keyboard to the AUDIO IN on your computer/interface. (And set the audio soundcard/interface as the recording input device.)

FYI....Technically, you have ONE virtual analog synthesizer with four voices, 128 presets, an arpeggiator, a vocoder, and effects.

Right.  So, therefore you ARE running a MIDI controller set-up.  Your synth is transmitting a MIDI signal to the USB port on your computer.  It is NOT transmitting audio.  You need to connect the AUDIO jacks to do that.

As a MIDI controller, the results will show up in the Vita MIDI editor.  When recording audio, it will not.

so do I just plug my keyboard into the microphone line in the computer?

Is it a microphone?  No.  I wouldn't recommend it unless you KNOW FOR A FACT that the mic jack also doubles as a Line-IN. Not all of them do.  You need to check your soundcard settings and computer documentation.

What you need is a blue Line-IN jack.  If you don't have that, I'd recommend getting a decent USB audio/MIDI interface.

ok thank you. I have a usb to MIDI cord already, and that is what I use to plug my keyboard into the computer with.
