How do I use just portions of a track to fit a segment of photos.

Using Xtreme Photostory 6, how do I just use a portion of a music track to fit a specific amount of pictures.
An example would be I want to use a portion of a song and apply it to say 11 photos and then move on to the next 10 photos with another portion of a song.

Working in timeline edit mode, you can position your cursor at the very end or beginning of a song - it'll display as a double sided arrow. Then you can click and drag the song to shorten it - I think if you right click on the song, you can also choose there to have the beginning and end fade in and out, for smoother transitions between songs.
