How do I unhide tracks in Recording and Editing views?

My question is for Samplitude Music Studio 2013.  Somehow at some point in working on my project, track 1 & 2 have been hidden from my view.  I know the tracks still exists because they are listed down at the bottom where all tracks are listed, I can see them on the mixing board, and the track also plays as normal when I playback the project.

So my question is: How do I unhide the tracks so that I can seethem in wave graphics in Editing view and access them in recording view?  When I save the project and load it, the tracks still remain hidden from view.

Note I am in standard view and have made sure the scroll bar on the far right is scrolled to the very top, still cannot see tracks one and two waves.

Hi,

I haven't had or seen this problem.

Did you try opening the Track Manager at the bottom of the screen under Tracks? The tracks should be listed. Double-click on track on and if it is not visible in the Project window, it will scroll up and maybe open it for you.

Did you by any chance create a folder track in which several tracks are combined? You can identify this by the folder that would be visible beside the track name, instead of 1 or 2 or 3.

Did you create a Submix bus?

Did you try Power user view or any of the other views to see if the tracks come back?

Did you try a reset? Program settings (Y), Program, General, Reset program settings and restart the program.

That's about the best that I can do.

Good luck.

Hi

I've had this happen sometimes and then I notice that I have inadvertantly minimised the track settings boxes - if the first track you can see on the workspace is Track 3 for example. try hovering the mouse cursor over the top of Track 3 settings box until it becomes a double arrow and then pull down - any help?

Thanks guys, I wound up useing the Track Manager trick you suggested.  Clicking  and right clicking would not let me see them above, but I was able to export the missing tracks to a new project, then copied all the other tracks over to the new project and deleted the old project.

Man i hope that doesn't happen again.  :)

Thanks for your suggestions, they really helped!
