the program allow playback while recording. check your program settings.

My name is Michael. I like a lot of styles of music. Played with different types of bands. But its the music in the soul that I value most. I'm not a great guitar player but I try to create a good sound that would take you on a short ride away. You can come back when you are ready. Thank you for listening. And call me Mike.

Can you be a tad bit more specific Driver!!!

You know we truck drivers have to have more input!!!

first, what input are you using on the computer. most systems have a "line in" and "mic". second, make sure there are no tracks in "solo" mode. this cuts off playback of all other tracks, only the track in "solo" will be heard. if you have a mixer handy, use it. it  will help dial in your audio input and keep from overdriving your recording. by the way, what version do you have of this program. if you have not adjusted anything in the settings window, you should hear what you write in the program. they come ready out of the box. open the mixer in the program to check levels of the other tracks. just press "M" on the keyboard. "M' again to close it. when you are recording, make sure the other tracks will play and you have adjusted the volume in the program mixer to a level that works for you. you should be able to hear other tracks and the input track for your guitar without recording. i do this to practice with the music b4 recording.
