Hi - I have the same issue. I've received the authorization code but when I use it it says 'invalid'. Is there anywhere I can contact directly for instant help please?
Hi Jeff, Thanks for your prompt reply. I've inherited our website for a very small community and hence new user of Xara and (don't judge me) am in the process of transferring to Wordpress. Simply because that's what I'm used to and for our purposes, simple for others to use. I've connected the domains and now in the process of cancelling the contract. Xara have supplied me with the authorisation code to allow the transfer and when I put it in to Wordpress, it came across as 'invalid'. Wordpress have an online (human) support agent who confirmed that the code is invalid. I need to do this before 12th March before the contract renews. Hope this makes sense? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
I'm entering to the new hosting company (Wordpress). FYI I've already contacted Magix support after going round the houses a bit to find the right place. They've sent me a new code (which is exactly the same - unique link to our existing website). I tried again anyway - but still came up as invalid. Wordpress can't help so I'm a bit stuck.
I know this is a 'user' forum but if it helps anyone else like me, then hopefully worth it. But if I'm wasting mine and others' time, please say so, I won't be offended. Thanks!
