Hi,

The program itself must be able to access the Internet directly. There might be a firewall/security setting that is blocking Movie Edit Pro from connecting. That's the only thing that really comes to mind, unless that was just a brief intermittent problem. I just checked again here on my end and everything worked fine.

P.S.: If it comes down to it and you can't get the problem worked out right away, you could also just export your project via "File" => "Export movie", e.g. as a WMV file. Then log into your YouTube account and use the upload option in there to pick up and upload the file.
