How do I move my existing Magix Photostory on DVD 2013 Deluxe projects to a new computer and have Photostory recognize them

How do I move my existing Magix Photostory on DVD 2013 Deluxe projects to a new computer and have Photostory find them?

I have built a new computer and I would like to move my projects from the old computer to the new computer.  I have already loaded the software onto the new computer, I just need to get the projects move over so I can load them and edit them if necessary.

My operating system is Win 7. The program is: Magix Photostory on DVD 2013 Deluxe ver:12.0.2.78 (UDC2)

I believe all the  files are in the Program Files directory in the MAGIX main folder.  If the  program places additional files at other locations I also need to know that.    Once I have located all the files do I just copy them to the same directory on the new computer or does Magix Photostory on DVD 2013 Deluxe need  to place the files somehow?

Thank you.

Hi

Look in the program settings (Y key) to locate the file paths where your projects are stored by default on the old and new computers.

Temporarily connect the old hard drive to the new PC and then copy them across from the location in the old computer  to the new location on the new PC.

Thanks Johnebaker,

Your suggestion helped me to get my slideshow prohects moved to the new machine.  Once i got all the information moved over, I still had to import the projects to get them to show under "Open existing projects:" in the wizard.  That only took a few seconds each.
