How do I merge scenes?

Hi,

I have Rescue Your Videotapes/Movies on DVD 7 and I am currently importing some VHS tapes and the software has split the recording into ten minutes scenes, with a two minutes scene at the end. I want to merge the last two scenes into one 12 minute scene.

I have highlighted both scenes, but I can see no 'Regroup' or 'Group' option in the edit menu or in the timeline or storyboard modes. The help menu says:

The commands "Group" and "Ungroup" in the editing menu let you join any scene into groups which can then be moved together as a block in Timeline mode.

Perhaps I am doing this completely wrong, but I have tried all menus and am at the end of my tether!

I dont know your Rescue Your --, but when you Export or Burn a DVD, all scenes will be merged to one film.

Thanks for the reply, but I want them to be one chapter on the DVD, if that makes sense? As it stands I will have a two minutes chapter at the end of the disc and it also means I can't use my 5 chapter template!
