how do i make music and photos fit together. i am trying to make a slideshow in photostory deluxe. and i can not figure out how to align the photos and music to fit together.

If you are working in Storyboard mode - see image below, then switch to timeline mode then you can see both the audio and your images and adjust the images accordingly ie change their length, position on the timeline etc.

See this tutorial by Magix on editing to a music beat - it uses a more advanced method however in several ways it is easier than other alternatives.
