How do i listen to effects so I know what the recording will sound like?

I can record, say my voice, I can only add an effect to my recorded voice-after the recording. Why can't I when wearing my headphones or through speakers, pre-load effects so that when I speak into my microphone I can choose an effect because I like it. Then press record knowing what it will sound like because I have pre-heard the effect? The only thing I can do is record my voice, for example, then add an effect into it. Why can't it be the other way around? If I plug in my guitar into  an amplifier, I can turn on effect, like chorus or something, if I play a lick and like it,with that effect then i'll press record knowing fair-well what it will sound like on playback? Why can't I do this with majix music maker 11 deluxe?

Hi,

In Magix Music Maker you can not do that.

You are right, once we have to record and then add effect or else.

You are using 11 Deluxe version, even I can't do the same as you want

in my Music Maker 16 Premium.

For professional things Samplitude is good.

Thank you

...because MMM is a music EDITING software.

Why is this an issue?  Before or after, it comes out the same.

If you really HAVE to have it beforehand, then simply use your hardware effects boxes between the instrument/mic and the computer.
