How do I use soundtrax feature for videos I have recorded? Do I need to purchase ausio, in addition to the magix program? Is there a standard free library of sound tracks available?

I am lost as to what you are trying to do. Firstly, with which program? Are you editing videos or audio tracks?
I suggest that you look at my 2 video tutorials under the Tutorials tab - - Getting starting in Movie Edit Pro and Getting started in MusicMaker.
If you are using edit movie pro 2014 then follow these steps-
1. Downoad no copyright sounds
2. open the sound track
3. drag the sounds to the box
4. place your music where you want to start and end for ex. start- 1:03 End- 1:09
5. line it up

I am new to Matrix magic software. Nevbre edited anything. I was only wondering where you get the audio from? Must you buy a track? The Magix software has a "internet media" option, that takes me to Catooh. I suppose I have to join that and pay for audio I want?

There is a lot of audio that comes with both of these programs but you have to make sure that you download everything. Look at my tutorials to see how to do this. You can make your own audio, music, sound or you can obtain more through Catooh or other sources. First, understand what you have before you buy anything, especially from Catooh, because you may already have it with the program.
