How Do I Import MPEG-4 Videos Onto Magix Edit Pro-14

Just bought a Sony Webbie HD which the videos are MPEG-4 but when i try importing them to edit them it wont do it.

"the file format of ...MAH00004.MP4
cannot be opened by MAGIX Edit Pro 14!

please make sure that the drive is not full or write-protected

if you do not have the authorization to write or read from this path, please contact the administrator"

What do i do?

Hi,

You need to make sure to activate the MPEG-4 codec before you can perform any MPEG-4 handling - import or export. You can find the appropriate option under the "Help" menu => "Activate additional functions". Before this codec hasn't been activated, the program won't read these files.

This location does not exist in pro 15 or pro 15 plus.

this activation must be asking for the location of the "holy grail" as no one appears to want to share this information.
