Hi,

Try using the soundpool database clean-up functions in the program settings ("Y" key). If you're still using version 14 of Music Maker, make sure you have installed the vailable patch first.

If you bought the product with one or more of the "soundpool DVD's" this is how you do it.

Open Music Maker and insert the soundpool DVD.

You will be prompted to copy any missing soundpool styles to the hard drive (click "copy" to do this).

After that, browse to where the soundpool files are at on the hard drive (public/documents/Magix_Music_Maker_17)

When you clicked "copy" after inserting the dvd, the program automatically copied all of those soundpool files from that soundpool dvd into a NEW folder on your hard drive called something like " soundpool_DVD".

If you manually copied files from the soundpool DVD earlier and pasted them elsewhere, delete those wherever you copied them to.

THEN, go back to Magix Music Maker, click "Y".  You then want to click "Soundpool Cleanup".  This will delete all the duplicates that are displayed in the list.  Only the soundpool files on your hard drive will be shown.

NOTE: If you have duplicates on the hard drive, you will still see duplicates after using the "Soundpool Cleanup" function.

Installing the product will put the soundpool where it needs to be (I think).  So if you later copy and paste some of those files and paste them somewhere else, you will need to go back and delete those, then run the cleanup tool.  That should fix it!
