How do I get my "date" and "time" to show on magix?

I have a sony handycam mini dv. How do I get the Date and Time thats on my cameras display to transfer over when I transfer the movie using Magix movie editor pro? The settings on my camera are correct per manual. I have found that if I record the movie to DVD first then transfer the movie from the DVD to Magix it will transfer over its alot of work though.

In MEP, right-click in the videotrack and choose "Fade in date as title". Now you can edit the text in Title Editor and place it where you want it.
