Hi Ronald,

I can't help with the freezing but can for ending.

As additional information, the program does not like gaps on the timeline. If there are any, then you will be advised of them when you export.

As for ending, the export will end with the last image. Look at the timeline. Press End. That is where the export will end - automatically. You can keep playing back in the project, but the export knows when to stop. Music should not go beyond the end of the images/videos or export will give you an error (usually).

The next good question should be, how do I finish a slideshow (which is just a video)? I always suggest 2 things - credits and a short fade out. Credits - give yourself credit for having made this masterpiece.

I often use an image or short (5 second) video clip or photo (3-4 seconds) for each priniciple person in the show, along with their name. Afterall, when we're dead and gone, how will the next generation know who was who?

Hi

. . . . I always suggest 2 things - credits and a short fade out.  . . . .

I do not normally use credits, however to 'indicate' that the movie has finished I use a long fade out between 2 - 3 secs in length depending on the last image or video clip..

This acts as a subconscious prompt to the viewer that the movie is ending, with a short fade 1 sec or less the viewer may feel left waiting for more.
