How do I cut the echo at the end of my finished arrangement

I have just finished an arrangement in MM17 premium.  There are about 16 tracks and the piece has a big ending. I have tried cutting right at the end of all the tracks, I have tried starting new record at the end but there is still echo after the piece has ended.  I want a little ambience at the end or it wouldn't sound natural, it is just too much and lasts a couple of seconds which is too much.  I do have reverb on most of the tracks as this makes the midi instruments sound much better.  Is there any way of fixing this?

Thanks, Glen.

I assume by "big ending" your piece ends rather abruptly.  Here's what I suggest...

First, make a copy of the original arrangement. (You'll be making some changes that cannot be undone.)  On the arrangement you wish to alter, go to the Effects Rack of the last object in each track and click on the "Apply" button at the bottom.  This will permanently apply any effects you have on that object to that object and will actually lengthen the object in the arrangement to make room for the tail of reverberation (or whatever effect you have applied).

Save the arrangement and EXPORT as a WAV file.  Now either import the new WAV file into the existing arrangement (mute all of the other tracks) or into a new arrangement.

Now, you will be able to apply a fade-out to the last two seconds of reverberation, create an even shorter fade-out, or shorten the track to stop instantaneously.  You'll have to decide which option you like the best.
