How do I create my own Picture-in-Picture templates?

This question seems to have been asked previously but no answer was forthcoming so I will ask it again. The existing pic-in-pic templates are not suitable for my Extreme PhotoStory on CD & DVD Deluxe (version 9.0.3.2) project. I am wondering if there is any way that I can create my own?

According to Magix Support this is not an option. Hard to believe.
