How do I adjust the recording to allow a 3 hour VHS film to be saved on one DVD+R?

This a question I earlier posed and got an answer. However this answer unfortunately did not solve my problem.

The adjustment has to be done before importing the VHS film.

I have been able to import and burn 3 hour VHS films and this requires a setting in the USER defined choice

(Very high /Hight /Custom (Advanced view)

The problem is that I've forgotten the setting.

I selected to record, then user defined, that opens up another window, in there I choose SVCD which has approximately 1 GB and hour. There is also VCD, which has under 500 MB a hour.

SVCD would have better quality and since a DVD holds 4.7 GB I figured this would fit.

Hopefully that is what you need.
