do not be frustrated, there are many ways to solve your problem!

If you use the Storyboard Mode (Icon left to change the track mode), it is very easy. You see your single scenes and klick just on the last scene on the "T" beside the preview picture.

If you use the arranger mode it is the same simple. Klick on the T in the toolbar below the arranger. Type in your text, even if it is in the beginning! Klick ok! Your text is an object now as a video or music clip. It has its own track (try it with klicking on it to re-open it). You can move this text object anywhere to the end or whaever you want re-edit it, change time aso.

Another way: Use title templates: Klick in second top menu on "titles", drag and drop one of the title effects in an empty track at the position you want, double klick on the object, type in your text..that is it,
