The nav bar you have is probably on the background page. This means that it will appear on all pages that you create. The only way to do what you are wanting is to create individual nav bars on the pages, then you can just not put one on the page you need. You do not need a nav bar on the background page for your site to function - but it does stop you from needing to add them repeatedly.
