Check the media you are trying to burn. If you put in a blank disc, check with Windows if it can detect it as blank media.

Also, you might want to try a different brand of media.

What version of MP3 Maker do you have, and what is media type (song) format that you are trying to burn?

Hi,

Please try this, before doing any changes make a memo so you can retrun to nromal instead blame me though there isn't any problem.

Ok get ready.
Start/My Computer/Right click on your CD or DVD drive/Click on Properties/Click on Hardware tab on top/ It will show devices attached choose the one you think is same as your CD or DVD drive click on it and look below you will find Properties click on it you will see
Device usage under this is a window here it should be enable or in working condition if not choose it and click OK and return back. Turn off your computer and try.

IF your CD or DVD is already enable or in working condition. Check driver are installed properly or not.
Otherwise, you can clearn browser history/cookies/turn off computer and turn on and try.

Make sure also, if your CD or DVD rom do read cds.

I hope this answer might help you. It seems you are using windows vista, because I do and have faced same problem.

Thank you

Hi,

Further to my last answer.
According to my experience, some times there are cds or dvds with error no matter brand new. Therefore, do not use same one try other and see if it works or not.

thanks
