Hi,

To install plugin each plugin got its own way to be installed. Such as some are installed via installer. Some are just extract from zip/folder in to the host sftware's plugin folder.

In case of Music Maker if your Melodyne plugin is just dll file you can drag and drop inside synth folder of Music Maker. Only in Music Maker 16 you have to add from Add button(if needed) Music Maker should not be in easy mode to perform this task.

Refere image below.

1. Turn off Easy mode

2. Click and browse Synth folder locate your plug in and click OK.

Note:Synth folder of Music Maker could be hidden file, to open manually you have to do as follows:

C: Directory, click on Tools,

Folder Options

View

Show hidden files

Click on Application Data/Program data depends on Windows OS you are using.

Locate Magix folder

Locate Synth folder.

Do not forget to hide folders again.

If you use Windows Xp, Vista or 7, the Syth folder of Music maker where all plugin will be

Thank you

Thank you very much for your response. But unfortunately, the problem is not solved yet. I've done like you said, it shows me that the dll plugin is installed, but it doesn't appear in the bottom of the page. I can't use it and I just can't find it! But it is very, very important for me to use it in magix.

And there is one more problem concerning vocal recordings. After I record, when I playback, the sound recorded goes after few moments (aproximately 4-5 bars) faster than te beat, so the tempo is swerving from the rythm (only the track recorded). Could you help me? Thank you very much for your advice.

Hi,

According to my experience which I got few days ago, some Vsti, Vst, plugin can not work in Magix Music Maker. As you can see in screen shot in previous answer there isn't Vita, I had tried to add and it showed as it is adding but it did not in reality.

Ok now, I would like to ask you, did you find the Synth folder as I had explained it could be hidden?

Which window version do you use?

If you tell me then may be I can think of some thing to help you out.

For sound recorded goes after few moments problem that is called Latency you have to set driver

check this Pdf tutorial.

Thank you

Hi, and thank you very much for your response again. Fristly, I will answer your questions: I've found the Synth folder as you had explained it could be hidden (but unfortunately it hasn't worked), I use windows XP version. Concerning latency problem, I cannot find there the input device. it just doesn't appear. I use a condenser microphone with a preamplifier, but there doesnt't show me anything, so I cannot set the driver to work properly. I'm so frustrated!!! I've checked the PDF tutorial, it was very useful for me, but as I said, I didn't solve my problems. Is there any chance to solve them?

Hi,

Right now I am on website http://www.celemony.com/cms/index.php?id=manuals&L=0

reading pdf Melodyne editor. On this website they say upgrade is free did you do that.

In the Pdf manual I found, Melodyne work as standalone and plugin.

You have to install using activation and get register before you work. Did you do that or you use trial product?

In the pdf page 17 it says

Melodyne editor Plugin
If you’re working on a song in a DAW and want to edit with Melodyne passages
from one or several tracks, Melodyne editor Plugin is the instrument of choice.
When the installation process is complete, you will find this implementation of
Melodyne editor among the audio effects plug-ins (not the instrument plug-ins)
of your DAW.

Here your Daw will be Music Maker.

Regarding Latency problem and Driver, I do not think you have installed any extra driver therefore they will not appear in the drivers list in Magix Music Maker you have to choose some and try from the list available in Music Maker.

To solve your problem I got following questions.

Do you got purchased version of Melodyne plugin or Trialversion, if purchased did you upgrade?

Did you install properly, you can refer Pdf manual?

Can you see different drivers in Music Maker?

Thank you

ADDITION* check this website http://www.celemony.com/cms/index.php?id=host_comp

It also says

Please note: with sample editors like Steinberg Wavelab, Sony Sound Forge, or Bias Peak the plug-in variants of Melodyne cannot be used. Please use the stand-alone variant instead.

Hi, first of all, I will answer your questions: I have trial version of Melodyne plugin and I installed it using the add button (because it's dll format, so I thought it will work properly). Regarding driver, under wave driver and direct sound, I have ASIO driver with 3 items: Magix Low Latency 2008, Magix Low Latency 2011 and ASIO direct X full duplex driver. Input device section is frozen, even though I have my microphone connected. P.S. Sorry about my bad english and my language mistake, but I'm not a native speaker.

Hi,

Do not worry about Enlgish, me too not native either. any way.

Thank you for providing information. According to Celemony.com the trial version will work fine 30 days.

What I have read and given link before this answer, Plugin need to be installed then it will work. However, you are right dll should work. But what your Plugin company said in the Pdf I have copied the text earlier. I think unless your installation is not proper you might get problem.

Please read my previous answer and check the links I have given.

About Driver, you have to check one by one which will work better.

As you do not have any input device I guess that is why it is frozen.

Please read my answer before this one ok and see.

About Microphone check this pdf

Thank you
