How can I fit video on 1 disc

No matter what I do , I always get project requires"" shorten project length. I also spit the video and still the same error message. Please help. I was using magix movies on dvd 7, not sure which program to use to burn this video to a disc. Please advise. Thanks.

Have you tried using the DVD burner that comes with Magixs Movie Maker? What version of MM are you using? MM15 and 16 allow you to very the bitrate on a movie to make it fit on a DVD even if it is over sized.

I actually have an older family movie creator magix

Movies on dvd 7. its old I think . Any other suggestions.
