How Can I edit title text?

I just upgraded to version 16+ of Movie Edit Pro. I am trying to add a title. Whether I click on the "T" or on the Title element on the Timeline I only get the message: "Please use the quick entry box in the Title Menu" to change the text of the object. No Quick entry box appears.
It would be nice just to double click on the object in the Time line. This is how it was in the last version.
What am I missing?

If you go to the text tab in the edit section and choose a text style (ie: standard text) drag and drop it in the time line and the dialog box will open.

Sorry "Securityman" but that doesn't work.

 Let's try this.

Click on the Title tab, choose "standard text", choose the style of test you want (standard, movie info, ticker 2), double click on that choice and it will open a text box on your viewing screen. Start typing the text. When finished, click on the check mark and move and size the text as required.

This is not the best way to do this but the other way is not working for you.
