One of the major issues that MAGIX inherited from SONY when they purchased VEGAS is a glitch where if you import audio in .wav format to use along with your video files, after you move the audio around a few times on the timeline, when you play it to preview your .wav audio clip, it will not play correctly. It's as if the file was cut up into multiple sections and then put back randomly on the timeline or it repeats the same small section over and over again. The only solution I have found is to use Sound Forge 11 or some other audio program and convert your .wav audio to .FLAC format. Then when you import the FLAC file and put it on the timeline on an audio track MAGIX VEGAS or Movie Studio will read it perfectly and your render will turn out just fine. This has been an issue for the last several versions of SONY VEGAS and it continues to be an issue in MAGIX Movie Studio Platinum 15.
