Help with various issues

I have purchased Web Design Premium 11 (64bit) and am having great fun with it. BUT the customer service is an UNservice. I have sent more than half a dozen requests for help and advice, and no one bothers to answer. No ticket no nothing. Total disregard. How can they do that to their custromers?

The problems with the program started right from the beginning:

1) can't activate (says no internet connection, although connected)

2) can't preview web pages

3) can't upload to my server

4) and now, can't even create a slide show

I have tried all suggested solutions, none seems to work. I have uninstalled and re-installed. No joy.

Can you please help? I love this program.

Hi

We need more information:

Windows version?

If Windows 10 was this an upgrade from 7 or 8?

If an upgrade to Win 10 - was Web Designer installed before the upgrade?

Was Web Designer running in 'trial mode'?

. . . . I have tried all suggested solutions, none seems to work . . . .

What have you tried apart from the re-install?

Hi Arthur

I had a similar problem with Microsoft Outlook - no Internet connection - which was a result of the upgrade.

Do steps 3 to 11 on page 2 in this tutorial to make sure the Windows 10 installation has not corrupted any system files.

Then try to register again.

If you still get the error message then uninstall Web Designer and delete any files left behind in the following folders:

  • c:\Program files\Xara\Xara Web Designer 11

  • c:\Program files (x86)\Xara\Xara Web Designer 11 - note: this folder may not exist !

  • C:\ProgramData\Xara\Xara Web Designer 11

Run the Xara installer again and re-install the software.

This should fix the problem.
