I posted about a crashing issue I was having. When I was able to get the program started up, I looked at the Help-->About feature and It was showing version 13. I uninstalled and thought I would try the free version (I have deluxe, but there is no mention of the version # in my account info online). The help-->about STILL says version 13. So now I am not sure what version I was using, as well as what version I now have.

Is this an oversight, that the version number is not updated between versions? OR do I have something strange going on?

I do have several other MAGIX products installed on my computer, as I purchased a bundle of the software late last year. Maybe that is part of the problem, although I would expect an uninstall and complete new install to change the version number.
