HAVING DIFFICULTY BURNING A DVD USING MAGIX PHOTOSTORY ON DVD 2013 DELUX, WORKS FOR ABOUT 14/15 MINUTES AND THEN I GET THIS MESSAGE "A Memory Request Has Failed""

mistyzinna wrote on 3/6/2014, 1:05 PM

Using Windows 7, Home Premium. I have made several attempts at burning a DVD but keep getting the same message "A Memory Request Has Failed, It is possible that there is no more free memory or an internal error has occured".

My Slideshow is showing to be 4.10GB with 554 photographs with a duration of 1Hr 21Mins. My PC has plenty of FREE MEMORY and tons of RAM and there are no other programms running, just the MAGIX PHOTOSTORY ON DVD 2013 DELUX.

My PC has been completely cleaned of all junk files, System Files, Web Cache & Application Files etc and is working very efficiently and as expected. I need this fixed by 14th March 2014 for a long planned and long awaited Family Reunion. Kind Regards John H, Glasgow, Scotland.

Hi

. . . My PC has plenty of FREE MEMORY and tons of RAM  . . . .

How much - these statements are vague and subjective?

Also is the Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit?

John

Hi, good evening and thanks for your answer but it does not help me solve the problem. All I want to know is how to get a DVD Burn successfuly, If these statements are causing a problem then please dismiss them.

I have created many DVD's with this programe but for some reason this particular slideshow will not complete a burn. It is perhaps the largest slideshow I have created but still within the parameters of the MAGIX programme capabilities. Thank you again, John H, Glasgow, Scotland.

Windows 32 bit. Thank you for your efforts here with me a novice to computers really. Kind Regards John H, Glasgow, Scotland.

Being a computer novice and after a lot of PAIN I have solved this problem myself and completed the DVD Burn successfully. Basically had to turn off Antivirus (vsserv.exe) completely and also turn off all other ongoing background programes that were likely to activate during the Magix DVD Burn process. My thanks to everyone who tried to help. J H, Glasgow, Scotland.
