Having built a slide show, I tried to burn to DVD. I get an error message requesting I download DLLAV32.DLL Version 6.1.124. The advice was to contact support. However there does not seem to be an email address to contact support on. Any suggestions for a fix on this? I am running Windows 8.

Hi

Welcome to the forum

We need more information:-

Which version of Photostory you are using ?

What is your Windows version and is it 32bit or 64bit?

You can try updating your Burn Routines available here    - you will have to login with the Magix account you created when you registered the software.

Come back with more information and then we can help you if the above dos not work.

Hi, thanks for your reply,

I am using Photostory on CD & DVD 10, I am running Win 8, and it is the 32 bit version.

Hope that helps

I downloaded the latest Burn Routine as you suggested. It seems that the latest is 2010.

It still does not work, and I notice now that the programme does not recognise my DVD Burner.

Regards,

Gerry

Hi

Run the installation program for Photostory again and do a repair.  If this fails to bring back the DVD burner try rolling back system restore to a point in time just before updating the burn routines .

This should bring back the DVD burner.

Try support at magix.com - replace at with @.

Microsoft recommend upgrading to the latest version of Photostory and have no solutions for version 10
