Has anyone managed to get their Zune Player recognised by MP3 Maker?

I am unable to get MP3 Maker to recognise my Zune Player so that I can export playlists to it.  What I want to do is copy the playlists and song files generated by MP3 Maker to my Zune Player.  I've tried running both MP3 Maker and Zune and literally dragging the files from one to the other.  Any suggestions folks?

I do not have a Zune but, I think if some of the users do have one the will need to know a bit more info, so I am asking on that behalf...

What version of MP3 Maker do you have?

Are you running the latest patch update for the MP3 Maker?

Are you running the latest version update for the Zune Player?

Is the Zune player at all recognized by the MP3 Maker when you click on portable devices?

Maybe with some of that info, you can get a better or timely response.

I'm answering my own question here, but I managed to at least get a MP3 Maker 14 playlist onto my Zune Player, even if I couldn't get the Zune recognised by MP3 Maker.

1) Plug in Zune, Load MAGIX MP3 Maker (make sure 'Playlist' button is highlighted in Orange in top-left portion of the screen)

2) Crate a Playlist using MP3 Maker

3) Click File > Create M3U Playlist and save your playlist with a meaningful name and location (the default location might be hard to find)

4) Open Windows Explorer to navigate folders. Locate the M3U file you just saved (they're usually no more than 3kb big)

5) Right-click the M3U file, select "Open With" > "Choose default program...".  In the next dialogue box that opens see if Microsoft Zune is listed.  If so, go to Step 6).  If not, select "Browse" and navigate to Program Files > Zune > Zune.exe (or wherever your Zune application is saved on the computer)

6) Click OK and Zune should load with the playlist songs displayed

7) To move the playlist and any songs onto the Zune, look for the name of the playlist on the left of the screen. Right-click the playlist name and select "Sync with Zune".  Immediately after doing this, you will see at the lower-left of the screen your Zune Player icon flashing as the playlist file and any songs not already on the player, are copied to the player.

8) Finally, to verify that your playlist is on the device, select "DEVICE" from the top menu items. Then on the menu line below that, select "music" and then towards the right of the screen, select "PLAYLISTS". You should now see a screen with all your playlists on the left. Whenever you select one, the screen will fill with your songs.  Now you have Magix MP3 Maker playlists on your Zune.
