Half way through sound out of sync

Why is it that half way through the sounds starts to go out of sync and get worse as the film goes on. It's not the burning process as it happens during the recording process?

I,m no expert but I had on MEP15 an audio offset that gets worse as recording goes on, not linear. I found in program settings you will see the audio buffers 2 through 9 are set about 4096. I increased them to 65536 and have no more offset problems. I do have 4 GB of memory and 3 GB processor, give it a try it may work for you. Allen
