Getting really pixelated videos

Flarix17 wrote on 7/18/2017, 3:41 PM

I am trying to make videos with Fastcut and everytime I finalize the video and it renders I get a really badly pixelated video here is a screenshot http://imgur.com/k2TK9Os

It never used to be like this I havent changed any settings here is a screenshot of one of my other videos with the same quality settings http://imgur.com/v8a0ldL

I am choosing the Full HD when I export it and it just keeps coming out pixelated even when I choose one of my old videos and just click finish on a 5 second film you can hardly see it. All of this started happening after the last update and no matter what setting I change or try it just looks like crap

My computer specs are

  • I7-2600 3.4 Quad Core
  • 16GB Ram 2133MHZ
  • Evga Geforce GTX 760
  • Windows 7 64 Bit

Hey Flarix

we tried optimizing the export settings and we were able to cut down the time spent on rendering by half. We tested the results and were quite happy with the outcome because we didnt see any quality loss. Only recently we came over examples like yours were people have recordings of high grass.

we will revert this change as soon as possible. Please make sure to update the software once it's possible (you'll receive a message in the software).

it's definitely not on your end.

kind regards,

Dmitri
