I have tried several times to get this going without success. Changed and checked all leads, connections etc. Don't seem to get anything but a blue screen on the main app. Can I download a 32-bit version instead to try on an older PC. The other 'clean your tapes' worked on that!

Assuming you are using Windows 10 you may need to give Rescue your Video Tapes permission to access the microphone and camera, even if you do not have them plugged in in the Windows, Settings, Privacy Camera and Microphone - selecting Camera or Microphone . . . .
