Getting BlueScreen when using Magix USB Videowandler 2 and OBS!!

Okay, so when using the software OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and trying to get a picture with the Magix USB videowandler 2 cable, my computer gets an instant BlueScreen with the stopcode "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" and the reason for it is "emBDA64.sys".

This bothers me a lot since the cable runs perfectly on my laptop, but on my desktop computer which is just from last year it doesn't work...

I've tried upgrading the driver, different USB ports and reinstalling the software OBS.

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce Experience version 3.16.0.140 if that matters.

PLEASE HELP!

@Jesper-Forsberg

Hi

If you are running Windows 10 then the most likely cause of the stop is the video drivers for the USB VW2 are not compatible.

There are no Windows 10 compatible drivers for this device - it is too old - they are only compatible for Windows up to version 7.

For OSB you should be able to use any modern USB video converter/capture device, however please note - the forum is for Magix products only, issues with OSB should be directed to the OBS forums.
