Get error your audio card is synchronised to a external clock

Have just installed Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS and now when opening any VIP project in MS14 and play get error "Could not set samplerate 44100Hz. Your audio card is synchronised to a external clock"

Soundcard works fine in all other respects, play CD, play WAV and MP3 files. All Creative software works fine and creative diagnostics shows everything OK with the sound card

My guess is that the program settings are still set to your old soundcard.

BTW...Have you downloaded and installed the most recent driver for your soundcard and operating system?

Thanks Procyon. You're probably right. I thought I'd done everything to remove traces of old soundcard. The new soundcard automatically set ASIO as the driver, which was causing the problem. Op Sys and Creative all up to date. I downloaded/installed ASIO4ALL, and that seemed to cure the issue.
