Please see my reply to your other post here .

I think it would be a good idea to post the information requested in that thread to this one here.

Thank you for those screenshots. Unfortunately at least some of the data is missing because it is below the bottom edge of your shot. Do you see the option to “Copy to clipboard”? If you do this you should be able to paste ALL the information to a post.

However, I do notice the first screen mentions a “Hardware error”. That is concerning! I note you say this is a new laptop but a hardware error is just that: a problem with your computer hardware, nothing to do with Windows, Photostory or any other software! Windows thinks some physical component of your computer is not “working properly”. I think you may need to have a computer shop check it out. (You should be prepared to show them that first screenshot as evidence of your concern.)

I believe the hardware error you see are due to the fact that after it froze each time I could only close down the computer but pushing the power buttom off, had to do it every time, as it froze up each time. I also just noticed that every time I make a change it is saved as a mp file, so I just deleted all of thoSEse, can that be stopped?

Hi

I too am running on a Lenovo Legion 5, Intel i7-10750H + RTX 2060, and have no issues as you are describing.

If you are not using the Magix Cloud Import feature, uninstall this - it may also be in the Apps list shown as Update Notifier - then reboot the laptop.

Also check in Windows setting, Accessibilty, Text Cursor that the Text cursor indicator preview option is turned off, this is known to cause slowdown issues with other Magix programs and may have been turned on.

If you have an Intel processor with integrated GPU and a Nvidia GPU then I would suggest you turn on the Hybrid mode in Lenovo Vantage to gain the benefit of using both GPU's.
