Magix Music Maker is not a DAW, it is for beginner level(I guess) and no doubt Music Maker is easy to use that is why I like it. In Music Maker no live monitoring, or no live effects is possible. While Ableton is more advance.

However, in regard to your question I will suggest, on internet just search for the product's review you are asking and you will know what the users are talking about. 

If you want professional level software then also check Magix Samplitude.

To be completely honest i have fallen in love with MMM17 I used to use (try to use) ableton suite 8. it was a goood DAW but it is nothing in comparison i seriously recommend to get mmm17 premium xxl and it has synths and stuff for music creation as well. perfect!

Hi guys, thanks for your replies, I already have mmm17 I was just wondering what people's thoughts were in comparing the 2 programs.  Thanks anyway.  I personally find that, thanks to it's intuitive UI and pre-loaded sample library, along with the tools it offers in the synthesizer part, give magix the edge over abelton, which looked way too complicated and counter intuitive when I had a look at it.
