Font colour change not working

LisaE wrote on 2/12/2021, 7:54 AM

I am currently editing a my website (created on Xara Web Designer Premium) and when I change a colour for a particular word it shows it to me in the program but when I publish it to the web, the change is not there. I have tried several times and refreshed the webpage over and over again to no avail. Please help.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Can you post the URL to it so we can check the site and which text did you change?

Hi John,

The URL is www.europeanonline.co.za and the text that I changed the colour to is "EST. 1995" but it remained black.

Thanks.

Lisa

Thank you, Jeff!

It's weird that on Microsoft Edge it shows as black. Any ideas on how to solve that mystery?

@LisaE

Have you tried forcing a refresh of your browser, either by pressing F5 (perhaps several times) or Ctrl+F5, again perhaps several times?

@LisaE

Hi

The text is red in Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Opera.

Did @emmrecs suggestion work?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your message.

I've tried refreshing my browser many times and it stays black. It's the same with another two computers in the office. I checked on Chrome and Internet Explorer and it appears red there. It must be an Edge thing. It's really strange...

Hi John,

Thanks for your message.

That is good to know. Thank you!

Nope, refreshing doesn't help.
