Well, that may depend on your equipment and what synth you are using.

Speaking specifically about the Vita MIDI Editor, I do know it is capable of creating a pitchbend of +/- one whole note (tone).  I believe I have created a tutorial that demonstrates this, but it is on a different computer.  If you're interested, I can post it to the tutorial section later.

Whether or not you can create a pitchbend greater than one whole tone (a fourth, fifth, octave, etc...) with a different VST synth and a controller keyboard, I don't know.  Perhaps someone else does?
