First track records to second track won’t isolate

When trying to record on second tract the first track also re-records on second track. If turn off playback on record then i can’t hear the first track! Samplitude 2022

@George-Cook This is likely caused by your audio device having audio loopback enabled and the output signal is sent back to the input. Please check the manual of your audio device on how to disable this. Or maybe you can do this by editing the audio driver settings in Samplitude.

Loopback is off in Samplitude. I’ll see if there’s a setting in the pc sound card. Thank you
