File loading error Magix Fastcut after software update

backpacka wrote on 4/12/2016, 5:01 AM

Hi

I am getting the following error when I try to load files into Magix Fastcut

The file format of

C:\FILMS\??????\???? (The ? relates to the file location and file name of the files that I am trying to load for editing.

cannot be read by MAGIX Music Maker.

Please ensure that the affected drive is not full or write-protected. (It's not)

If you do not have read or write access to this path,

please contact the administrator. (I do have access.)

All of these files were taken from my PVR and last week all of them loaded into Magix as .TS even after I converted them to MP4 with VCL. This error started to appear after a Magix  update yesterday.

Thanks

Hi

. . . .  File loading error Magix Fastcut . . . . cannot be read by MAGIX Music Maker . . . .

Which program has the issue?

Assuming it is Music Maker then it cannot read mp4 files they must be AVI,  MXV (Magix own video format), MOV or WMV format.
