That depends on what you mean, are trying to do and the destination viewing device, file format.

That depends on the file format you require for Q1.

That depends on Q1 and 2 - some codecs do not support Interleaved video others do not support Progressive.

We need more information - your questions, as you can see above from my responses, are too vague and general for definitive answer..

More information needed is:

  • the source device eg camera, VCR etc
  • source video file format and resolution
  • playing media, eg Internet ie Youtube, Vimeo etc, on disc eg DVD or BD , on USB stick or external Hard Drive
  • Playing device eg PC monitor or projector, mobile device eg smart phone, tablet etc, TV
