Since the last update 21.0.2.138 every new project I'm working on crash today I was doing two videos for my youtube channel and both project crash, yeserday happened the same with other project I made for my other channel, I will uninstall the program and reinstall it with no update at all and see what happen, with every update a new issue but the last one is the worst, I always had crashes before but no in everyone of the videos like now.

Project one today.

Project two today.

Project three another chance before deleting the program this update has no hope.

If you can't fix it. don't break it

Well, I reinstalled the first version of MEP 2022 and I already finished two project without getting a crash.

Although the program freeze for a couple seconds every other times and don't let me render video by hardware 'cos it says my graphics driver needs an update, but when I check the NVIDIA software says I have the latest installed, but the render by software does the job alright, even though I have this problems at least this is more bearable that the crashes in every single project.

I just reinstalled windows 10 Pro in a formatted hard drive then installed MEP 2022 and I gave another try to the update 21.0.2.138 before the update everything was alright beside the freezing and occasional crash, first issue a png file is shows as black square in the program monitor but this issue goes away when I reduce or enlarge the program monitor.

Definitely there's something wrong with this update.

Another problem that returned is the disappearing of text object, also mask showing partially.

Greenscreen no showing,

After loading other project and returning to the one with this issues the final result should look like this.

I don't have experience with stability of previous versions, but I am using MEP 2022 2.138 update and it crashes continuously. Often it crashes upon launch before even loading a project. Sometimes I can get some work done, but I save almost every step I make as any step it can crash any minute. I have a new system, but not a powerful graphics video editing system. Still, I don't expect crashes on simple things, like the program loading. I have tried updated Intel graphics drivers, including Beta version, and it reduced crashes from almost every step to every 10 minutes. I have tried turning processing for all steps from GPU to CPU, and doesn't seem to make a difference. Almost seems CPU setting crashed more. This is a Windows 11 system (with latest windows update), new out of box without any other software. The MEP 2022 was through upgrade, where I have to install MEP Pro Premium 2021 and then through upgrade service it updates to MEP 2022.

System is using Intel Graphics. Drivers tried: 101.1994 and 101.1394_Beta

@Tyson-L

Hi.

It's unlikely you will get a response from any Magix staff on the forum. Nor is it likely that any more patches will come out now that VPX 14 is on the market.

Your best bet to get help is to make your own topic in the Video Pro X section of the forums.

Apart from the specs you have supplied here I think you also need to add your C: drive size and amount of free space on that drive as well as where the project files are kept and used from and where to you export your rendered files to?

Ray.
