Extreme slow motion tips and hints

I noticed in V Pro X3 we can only slow down a clip to .5 of original speed.

If the new slow motion algorythim creates frames in between, why limit how much we can slow it down?   Twixtor has monopolized the market on this desirable effect (extreme slow motion). Any plans to include something with similar functionality in future releases?   I also have Movie Maker 17 and MX if either of those can help, as I noticed that each software has individual features that the others may not.   Your suggestions are always helpful.   Thank you.   Dan B

Hi

I have successfully slowed down a 25fps 1920*1080 movie to 1/10 normal speed with MEP MX calculating the intermediate frames.

Try it on a video clip you will need to ungroup it from and discard the audio,.

Select the video clip and from the Effect tab select Video Effects, Speed and check Interpolate intermediate frames

Change the mouse mode to Stretching and pull the video clip out to the length you want.

When you export/burn DVD the intermediate frames will be calculated.
