Been away from creating DVD's for a while and maybe I am doing the process incorrectly.I have Magix Video Pro X 2.5 edition. I need to making a DVD (playable in a DVD player), I am using, Export as Mpeg, and Magix creates a mpeg file. I then go to the file and right click and choose Burn to DVD. the file burns to DVD, I even have it check for errors. It says sussessful when finished. I play it on DVD and get disc error. I am using Staples DVD I have ordered Tokio Yukio DVD's.  It plays on the computer.  What is the best way to create a DVD, it is to take to local cable tv to play in their dvd player. Thanks!  Using windows 7

Hi

You cannot create a DVD just by burning an mpg file to DVD.

A  DVD has IFO and VOB files which are created when you use the Burn tab in VPX and create your DVD from there.

It is all in the manual installed with the software.
